MAE Center Names New Managing Director

Timothy Gress was recently named the new Managing Director of the Mid-America Earthquake Center. Mr. Gress had been serving as the Center'ÂÂs Director of Business Development since September, 2005 on a half-time basis.
In his new full-time role Timothy will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the center and supervising the administration staff. He will also be assisting the Executive Director with budgeting, strategic planning, project administration, and recruitment. Additionally Mr. Gress will maintain his responsibilities of developing the business and marketing plans as well as directing the marketing efforts of the Center.
Prior to joining the Center in September, 2005 Timothy was a Vice President for the Institute for Technology Development.
