Ruth Coffey joins MAE Center as Administrative Manager

Ruth Coffey has joined the Mid-America Earthquake Center as Administrative Manager. Ruth worked for several years at the University of Illinois in Grants and Contracts, and as Director of Finance and Business Manager for several large health care organizations in central Illinois. Her degrees include a B.S. in Business and an M.B.A., both from Eastern Illinois University. Ruth assumes the duties of overseeing the operations of the MAE Center, including administering the budget and expenditures, issuing subawards, assisting with all grants and contracts, editting the center newsletter, overseeing staff, and numerous other activities that make the MAE Center a cohesive whole.
