Practitioner and Student Interaction 2005
Purpose: The goal of the project is to create opportunities for graduate student and practitioner interactions.
Travel Sites: Travel funds will be provided for MAE Center graduate students to work with government agencies, contractors, or industry personnel, in the United States, on their existing research projects. Travel funds will not be available for visiting other universities or for travel outside of the United States.
Length of Travel Time: Funding will be available for 1-5 day site visits.
Who Can Apply: MAE Center graduate students, either traveling by themselves or as a group, can apply. Group travel is encouraged, especially for students from different institutions who are working on the same or related projects.
Application Deadline: Applications will be accepted all year.
Funding Amount: There is no minimum or maximum amount that can be requested. You will, however, need to complete a separate budget sheet demonstrating how the funds are being spent for transportation, hotel, etc.
Tasks: Funded students will be required to complete a program evaluation form after return from trip.
