MAE Center meets with Ameren IP visitors
On May 14, Ameren IP visited the University of Illinois campus. Amr Elnashai,
Director, and Timothy Gress, Managing Director, of the MAE Center spoke with
them in the morning regarding earthquake research and potential
collaboration. Ameren Energy is based in St. Louis, Missouri, but they have
operations in several Illinois communities. The team from Ameren consisted
of Shawn Schukar (Vice President of Strategic Initiatives), Richard Smith
(Manager of R&D), Bob Dodd (Supervising Engineer of T&D Design), George Mues
(Principal Engineer), and William Barbieri (Manager, Renewables). For more
