Forsyth School St. Louis, MO

MAE Center graduate student Sungsook Cho from Washington University in St. Louis presented an earthquake preparedness and safety program at Forsyth School in St. Louis, MO, January 13, 2004. This presentation was a component of the Student Leadership Council Classroom Visitation program. Forsyth School is an independent, coeducational elementary school for 350 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 6. Nineteen 5th grade students experienced a program focusing on earthquake preparedness and safety. Hands-on activities, discussion about earthquakes, and a video on preparedness rounded out the one hour session.
